Vienna, 18 October 2026 – When everyone on a small team is already on a call, the next call can be lost. The-Y e.U., an IT company in Vienna, has built a flow for this into its software The-Y CRM. If nobody picks up, the caller hears a short message, presses 1 and receives a WhatsApp message from the business's own number seconds later. Buttons let them pick a callback time. The message, the caller's consent with date and time, and the reply sit in one conversation in the shared team inbox. Callers who press nothing stay on the line. Only one such message goes to a number in 24 hours, and the consent covers this reply only, not marketing.
Since version 1.1.45, calls that customers start in WhatsApp also ring in the built-in phone system, with menu, ring group, queue and voicemail. The-Y CRM is in alpha, so still in testing. The Free plan is free for up to 3 users; Cloud Pro costs €20 per month for the whole team during alpha and beta (€40 from the Live release). Servers are in Vienna, and self-hosting is possible. Teams record their phone announcements themselves, in any language.
